As technology advances rapidly and online security challenges continue to grow, Saudi Arabia is playing a vital role in strengthening cybersecurity and advancing software development. This commitment is reflected in the work of the “Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones,” which strives to empower Saudi talent and develop national capabilities across these critical fields.

Strengthening Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity is essential in today’s digital age, as individuals and organizations face many different types of cyber threats. The Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones aims to protect people across the Kingdom from these threats while raising cybersecurity awareness. One of the Federation’s primary objectives is to develop effective strategies for the early detection and mitigation of cyberattacks. Its team works to provide advanced tools and technologies that help organizations and individuals identify vulnerabilities and protect their systems and sensitive data from cyber threats.

Advancing Software Development

Programming is one of the most important sectors in the digital age, and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones is working to strengthen programming capabilities among Saudi nationals. To support this goal, the Federation has set an ambitious target: for one in every 100 Saudis to be a programmer by 2030. This initiative seeks to provide high-quality programming education and training opportunities for both young Saudis and professionals already working in the field. The Federation also aims to sustain growth in the programming sector by supporting professional developers and encouraging innovation and creativity in this vital industry.
